Sharjah, UAE – 23/11/2024: The eighth edition of the Emirates-Korean Friendship Taekwondo Championship, held in Sharjah, has concluded with impressive performances from athletes across the country. The tournament, organized by the Emirates Taekwondo Federation and sponsored by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, brought together 20 top clubs and teams from around the UAE for a weekend of intense competition.
Armin, a professional athlete representing Al-Fujira Martial Arts Club, triumphed in the tournament, securing a gold medal in his category. His victory came at the culmination of several days of fierce competition, where participants showcased remarkable skill, discipline, and determination.
The competition, which kicked off on Saturday, November 23rd, featured a blend of men’s, women’s, and youth categories, with the athletes delivering some of the most thrilling matches in recent years.
At the close of the tournament, Al-Fujira Martial Arts Club stood out by clinching first place in both the women’s and youth divisions, with Sharjah Club claiming the top spot in the men’s category.
